Admission Procedure

  • Application for Admission to U. K.G are accepted. The Admission Notice, giving more details will be available from the School or on the website in the month of October. Admissions to other classes may be taken against chance vacancies at the beginning of the school year.
  • Parents are asked to fill the admission forms with the utmost accuracy. No subsequent changes will be permitted. The school does not accept affidavit to change the date of birth already entered.
  • A candidate who has attended a recognized school may be admitted with a Transfer Certificate from the school the candidate has last attended. Catholic Students must also produce a Baptism Certificate.
  • New candidates must be introduced personally to the Principal by the one who will be responsible for his conduct and fees.
  • The Candidate will be examined on the syllabus of the class immediately below that to which they seek admission.
Admission of all classes will be subject to the availability of seats. The Rector/Principal is the final authority in granting admission.

The Principal will not be able to meet the parent of those who are not selected. Furthermore he will not answer any question regarding selection. The names of the selected candidates are published for provisional admissions to UKG and no person are permitted to meet the principal in this regard. However, the application must furnish a genuine and correct date of birth certificate duly issued by the competent authority (at the time of submission of the application form.)

ONLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ABIDE BY THE DECISIONS OF THE SCHOOL, YOU NEED TO APPLY; DATE OF BIRTH GIVEN WILL NOT BE CHANGED AFTER ADMISSION.
ANY DISCREPANCY DISCOVERED IN THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR IN THE PROCEDURE WILL LEAD TO AUTOMATIC CANCELLATION OF THE SEAT AND THERE WILL BE NO REFUND OF FEES.
  • Admission Prospectus wili be available in school office from 15/09/2023 to 20/10/2023.

  • Eligibility Criteria: - Candidates who have attained the age of 5+ as on 01/04/2024 are eligible for admission to U.KG.
  • The criteria set by the Government of India in the New Education Policy demands that a child entering at U.KG 1evel be 5 years of age. Don Bosco School, Oodlabari shall abide by the new norms set by the Government of India with effect from 2023.
  • Admission Forms (Offline & Online) should be submitted in school office on 30/10/2023 and 31/10/2023. Time 9.00am - 3.30pm. Following documents needs to be attached with the Admission Form:-
    • Copy of Birth Certificate.
    • Copy of Discharge Certificate / Polio Card.
    • Mark Sheet of the last exam attended./ Schoal Bonafied Certificate.
    • Address Proof (Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ Residential Certificate)
    • One Family Photograph {post card size} and three passport size photograph of candidate.
  • Original documents must be presented at the time of counseling for verification.
  • Selected Candidates have to submit Transfer Certificate at the time admission.
  • Date of counseling shall be communicated by SMS.
  • The cost of Admission Prospectus is Rs. 1000/-

Transfer Certificate

Students migrating from other schools must produce their transfer certificate, progress report and character certificate of their previous schools. Correct date of birth is to be submitted at the time of admission. It is the prerogative of the Principal to reject or grant admission to any class without assigning any reason to any application. Admission to Donbosco School is a privilege and not a right.
